Heatwave Illustration

Heatwave (2D illustration)

This is an illustration project I have been working on with reference to the recent weather in the UK.

In this isometric piece I present the amber glow from the light source as a metaphor for the light of the sun. My overall approach is to create form using light and shadow, via an absence of line and the use of solids and gradients.
